Terms of Service
The terms that govern your use of Ovēa's website, membership, and educational content — please read them carefully before joining.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of helloovea.com and the Ovēa membership platform, including all content, tools, consults, and community features (together, the "Services"), operated by Ovēa ("Ovēa," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, or purchasing a membership, consult, or digital product, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. 1. Description of Services
Ovēa is an educational membership platform founded by Hannah, an ARDMS-certified OB/Gyn sonographer and certified Holistic Health Coach. The Services may include:
- Personal, asynchronous video walkthroughs of ultrasound imaging you submit ("Ultrasound Literacy" scan reviews);
- Evidence-based educational guides and supplement protocols (including, for example, PCOS/PMOS, fertility, hormone balance, and perimenopause protocols);
- Private community spaces for members navigating similar health topics;
- Monthly live Q&A calls with Hannah;
- Paid one-on-one offerings such as the Ovēa Clarity Consult and Strategy Session;
- Free resources, quizzes, and email content.
We may add, change, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice.
2. Educational Purpose & Medical Disclaimer
Ovēa is an educational platform. It is not a medical provider, and nothing on the Services constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Hannah is an ARDMS-certified sonographer operating strictly in an educational capacity through Ovēa — reviewing your submitted imaging and discussing it in an educational context does not create a doctor-patient, sonographer-patient, or any other clinical relationship between you and Hannah or Ovēa.
You should always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition, your ultrasound imaging, or before beginning any supplement, protocol, or lifestyle change discussed on the Services. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read, watched, or were told through Ovēa. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately.
Supplement recommendations, protocols, and guides provided through the Services are general educational information based on published research and clinical experience — they are not personalised medical recommendations unless explicitly provided as part of a paid Clarity Consult, and even then remain educational rather than diagnostic or prescriptive in nature. Always disclose all supplements to your healthcare provider, particularly if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, nursing, or taking medication.
3. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Membership, Billing & Cancellation
Subscription & billing
Ovēa membership is offered on a recurring monthly or annual subscription basis at the rate displayed at checkout, including any applicable Founding Member rate. By subscribing, you authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Founding Member pricing is offered for a limited time and locks in your rate for as long as your membership remains active and uninterrupted; if you cancel and later rejoin, you may be subject to then-current pricing.
Cancellation
You may cancel your membership at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access to member content through that date. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.
Refunds
Digital products, guides, Clarity Consults, and Strategy Sessions are generally non-refundable once delivered or completed, given the personalised and immediately-accessible nature of the content. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at the email in Section 15 and we will review your request.
Price changes
We reserve the right to change membership pricing for future billing periods with reasonable advance notice. Founding Member pricing, once locked in, will not increase while your membership remains continuously active.
5. Imaging & User-Submitted Content
As part of certain Services, you may voluntarily submit ultrasound images, scan reports, symptom information, or other content ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you represent that:
- You have the right to share the User Content (for example, it is your own imaging, or you have obtained any necessary permission);
- You consent to Hannah and authorized Ovēa staff reviewing the User Content for the educational purposes described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy;
- You understand this review is educational, not diagnostic, and does not replace review by your treating provider.
You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant Ovēa a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and review your User Content solely to provide the Services to you. We do not use your individual imaging or personal health details in marketing or publish them without your separate, explicit consent. See our Privacy Policy for details on how imaging and health information is stored and protected.
6. Community Guidelines
Ovēa's community spaces are intended to be supportive, respectful, and confidential environments for women navigating similar health topics. When participating, you agree not to:
- Share another member's personal information, screenshots, or health details outside the community without their consent;
- Post medical advice as though it were a diagnosis or a substitute for professional care;
- Harass, disparage, or discriminate against other members or staff;
- Post spam, solicitations, or promote competing products or services;
- Share content that is unlawful, abusive, or violates the rights of others.
We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate access for members who violate these guidelines, at our sole discretion.
7. Intellectual Property
All content provided through the Services — including guides, protocols, videos, graphics, the Ovēa name and logo, and all related materials — is owned by Ovēa or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your membership grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use this content for your own personal, non-commercial use.
You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, resell, or create derivative works from any content provided through the Services without our prior written consent.
8. Affiliate Links & Third-Party Products
Guides and content provided through the Services may include links to third-party products, including supplements available through Amazon and other retailers. As disclosed in our Privacy Policy, Ovēa participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and other affiliate programs and may earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through these links, at no additional cost to you.
We do not manufacture, control, or guarantee any third-party product. Product recommendations are provided for educational purposes based on published research and clinical experience, and are not a guarantee of any particular outcome. You are solely responsible for evaluating any third-party product and discussing it with your healthcare provider before use.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY PARTICULAR HEALTH OUTCOME OR RESULT WILL BE ACHIEVED THROUGH USE OF THE SERVICES.
Individual results from any protocol, supplement, or guidance discussed through the Services vary and are not guaranteed.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OVĒA AND ITS FOUNDER, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO OVĒA IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ovēa and its founder, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
12. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Ovēa is registered to do business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall first be addressed informally by contacting us directly. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, both parties agree to attempt resolution through binding arbitration on an individual basis, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court.
You and Ovēa each waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
